Rod Joyner is an American artist who hails from Virginia. He has been teaching for 20 years with an emphasis on the fundamentals of his teaching and paintings driven by unconventional painting techniques by using mixed media , it opens up a world of opportunity and fascination. It allows the artist to experiment with some sensational end results.

I challenge myself on a daily basis and critique myself heavily, if the end result is not good enough, I turn the canvas and start again.
