FAMOUS ARTISTPhilip Lindey

Philip Lindey was born in Rochdale, Greater Manchester in 1968. His parents returned to their native Ireland shortly after he was born, leading him to complete his studies in Sligo and Dublin (a Masters in Fine Arts).

Developing and honing his talents through group shows, open submissions and portrait commissions, Philip’s first solo exhibition took place at the Galway Arts Centre in 1997. In 2000, his work was included in a group show at the Albemarle Gallery in London, where it attracted great interest and lead to new and exciting opportunities.

Now based in Galway, Philip Lindey’s work depicts satirical scenes featuring quirky characters in beautifully surreal and spectacular settings.

We are so looking forward to Philips 2016 Exhibition which will take place late November, this is his first exhibition in a decade.

Philips exhibition was a huge success with yet another piece in the state collection and one to one of Irelands prominent young collectors
