A charming low stool in the Senufo tradition of West Africa, hand-carved from a single piece of hardwood and supported by three polychrome caryatid figures — two in vermilion and one in ebonised black — each rendered with stylised facial features characteristic of Senufo masquerade arts. The circular seat is hand-painted with a stylised figural medallion and bordered by a vivid red-and-black diamond-banded apron. A piece that brings sculptural rhythm and a shock of folk colour to any interior. 18 × 18 cm.
