Lesley Oldaker

Lesley Oldaker is a contemporary painter whose oils explore the geometry of the crowd. Working in cool palettes of cobalt, slate and white, she stages anonymous figures within sweeping architectural spaces — tunnels, concourses, vaulted halls — where a single coloured form, often a solitary red, becomes the emotional anchor. Her canvases hold both stillness and a low cinematic tension.
