Driving through Haggerstown

100 × 80 cm

A bare-branched winter lane caught at the very edge of evening — the road slick from recent rain, a whitewashed cottage glowing softly in the last of the golden light, a thin line of yellow sky breaking the grey at the horizon. The unmistakable Beagan signature: stillness, weight of water, the small warmth of one window facing a long road.
