AWARD WINNING AMERICAN ARTISTMike Hamblin

Mike Hamblin

Mike Hamblin is an American artist, based in Montana and a graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle.

As an illustrator and designer, Mike’s past clients have included major international brands including Coca-Cola Enterprises and Boeing, while as an artist his stunning character portraits have been added to private collections all over America.

In July 2013, Mike and his partner Billie Jo flew in from Montana for his first european exhibition which was hosted at the then Garden Gallery in Crowenstown, Delvin. Former inter-county Irish Gaelic footballer, Bernard Flynn, introduced the successful and well attended evening, which included – in pride of place – a portrait of footballer James “Jim” Stynes who died in 2012 aged just 45. A special portrait of Jim was presented to his parents Brian and Tessa at an emotional private viewing. A short video of this very special occasion in the history of The Chimera Gallery is included below

Mike is available for private commissions. For more information and pricing, please contact us.
